This section of the website is dedicated to the music used in ECW throughout the original promotion’s run from 1992-2001. Many wrestling fans look upon the time of “Extreme Championship Wrestling” (late-August 1994 through January 2001) as a time when the music was an integral part of the show ranging from:
- The original “This Is Extreme” theme as made by Harry Slash and the Slashtones for the promotion
- Wrestlers’ entrance music
- Music videos on ECW television
- Used in the commercials which sold ECW VHS tapes of previous shows
- Music used in the two ECW video games
- The ECW CD compilation albums including:
- ECW Extreme Music
- Anarchy Rocks Extreme Music Volume 2
- Much more
