ECW Alumni In 2000’s Japanese Action Figure Line

A big thank you to Harry Slash for his providing us information and images about ECW alumni who appeared in a Japanese action figure series in the 2000’s. Harry has been a massive supporter of this website and a good friend! Please check out more about him and his contributions to ECW with his music (including the ECW theme “This Is Extreme”) and his work behind-the-scenes for years with the company.

Harry recently gathered several musicians, including some who worked with him during ECW’s original run, and they created possibly the first-ever Christmas song to be released on Leap Year – February 29, 2024. Check out the single at this link:

The information below was provided to us by Harry:

Back in the 2000s Character Prouducts, (a/k/a CharaPro), released nine volumes of highly detailed Pro Kaku Mini Big Head Figures. The series included wrestlers from various eras of every major Japanese promotion, including New Japan, All Japan, Noah, FMW, Michinoku, Osaka Pro, Joshi and others, as well as MMA fighters. (CharaPro also released various similar style Japanese anime sets like Kinnikuman (Ultimate Muscle), Sailor Moon, and the Tiger Mask anime.) Many of the wrestlers in the Pro Kaku line were ECW alumni, even if for only one appearance. They’re pictured here in the order of their first appearance in ECW, including variant sculps and repaints.
