Top 3 Most ECW TV Pay Per View Matches

June 15, 2022 by ECW Website

ECW Trivia Question

According to ProfightDB.com for the televised (cable) pay-per-view events, not including any internet pay per view events, nine wrestlers had matches on at least 14 of the 21 ECW PPV events. The wrestlers with 14 to 17 matches include: Taz, Buh Buh (Bubba) Ray Dudley, Lance Storm, Tommy Dreamer, Little Guido/Guido Maritato, and Jerry Lynn. Which wrestlers had 18 or more appearances on the live ECW PPV events?

Answer: Balls Mahoney (18), RVD (18), and Justin Credible (19).

Shout-outs to Francine, referees Jim Molineaux and John Finegan, broadcaster Joey Styles, and others for their appearances in non-wrestling capacities on most/all of the ECW PPV events. The numbers do not reflect any dark match appearances such as Balls Mahoney and Little Guido appearing, respectively, in the dark matches preceding the live broadcast of 1997’s Barely Legal – nor appearances like Tommy Dreamer’s involvement in the main event of the same show.
