November 10, 2022 by 122300@ecwwrestling.com

ECW Trivia Question

In which regular season did both Ron Simmons and Dr. Death Steve Williams both play in the United States Football League?

Answer:

1983. Ron was with the Tampa Bay Bandits and Steve was with the New Jersey Generals. Due to Williams’ being on Injured Reserve until mid-way through the season the two never played against each other as the only game between the Generals and the Bandits took place in the 3rd game of the 1983 season.
